We have developed an array of tools for the academic clinical research community in Switzerland and beyond.
Our ready-to-use tools are freely available, up-to-date resources that help you get your clinical research project over the finish line. Published under the Creative Commons license, these tools are not only tailored to Swiss laws but can also be adapted to clinical trials worldwide.
SCTO Platforms are hubs of innovation for all key clinical research areas.
We have developed these tools for clinical research professionals within our pools of expertise across Switzerland: our SCTO Platforms. Our expertise covers the areas of auditing, data management, education, monitoring, project management, regulatory affairs, safety, and statistics and methodology.
In our platforms, we develop new solutions for the most current challenges and serve as the primary contact point for your questions and suggestions. Feel free to get in touch with us!
The Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation (SCTO) brings together the best minds to improve clinical research in Switzerland and beyond.
As part of its mission to advance academic clinical research in Switzerland, the Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation (SCTO) coordinates the SCTO Platforms. These platforms serve as pools of expertise and develop high-quality tools for facilitating the smooth conduct of clinical study projects. SCTO Platforms consist of members of the SCTO’s Clinical Trial Unit (CTU) Network. Additional stakeholders and external experts may be invited to join the platforms to collaborate on specific topics. The SCTO is an independent organisation and was initially funded in 2009 as a joint initiative of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences.
